Which cookies we use and why.

Cookies are small pieces of information (files) that a website leaves on your computer. The website instructs the web browser you use to view websites (for example Chrome, Firefox or Edge) to store these cookies on your computer. There are two types of cookies. Session cookies are removed from your computer as soon as you close your web browser. Permanent cookies remain on your computer, even after you close your web browser.

Our website is a static site: pages are served ready-made through our hosting network. We therefore place very little on your computer ourselves — what is set comes from the services described below.

How can you refuse cookies?

You are always entitled to refuse cookies. To do so, you can set your web browser (for example Chrome, Firefox or Edge) to refuse all cookies or only certain cookies (consult your browser’s manual for this). If you refuse cookies, it is possible that certain services will not work correctly for you.

Which cookies do we use?

Strictly necessary technical cookies, plus one advertising measurement pixel. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable general statistics service, and we do not sell your data.

  • Strictly necessary technical cookies — our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may set a technical cookie to route traffic correctly and to block automated abuse such as bots and attacks. These cookies are needed to keep the website secure and available, and are not used to track you or build a profile.
  • Advertising measurement — OpenAI / GPT Ads Pixel — we advertise through OpenAI’s advertising platform. So that we can see which campaigns actually lead to an enquiry, the GPT Ads Pixel records when you successfully submit one of our forms, such as a quote request, and attributes it to the campaign that brought you to our website. For this it may store an identifier in your browser. We use it only to measure the result of our own advertising; we do not use it to build a profile of you or to make automated decisions about you. The data collected for this attribution is processed by OpenAI under their business data and privacy terms.

Preferences such as the light or dark theme are stored in your own browser (via local storage) and therefore not in cookies. That data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

If you fill in a form on our website, the details you enter are sent to us so we can handle your request. That happens on the basis of the information you enter yourself, not via cookies; see our privacy policy for how we process it further. A successful submission also registers the measurement event described above, which records that an enquiry was made — not what you wrote in the form.
